The youth in the group homes deserve to have a team that is dedicated. Help us provide a foundation for children to become whole again. In early 1992, Mrs. Singh saw the increased need to assist children out of group home care and into family settings. This led to the development of Homes of Hope Foster Family Agency, which opened its doors after licensure in June of 1994.
Our Vision is to give hope by providing foster youth with a natural and nurturing home environment that matches with their individual needs. Homes of Hope Executive Director, Sukhwinder Singh, laid the foundation of this agency. After just one year of operation and much success, she was able to develop a second Boys Group Home. A few years later, the Foster Family Agency was opened in the city of West Covina.
What are co-workers like at Homes of Hope Foster Family Agency?
After struggling for several months, Homes of Hope Foster Family Agency began to grow to first ten, then twenty to now approximately 100 certified foster homes and approximately 200 children. We want to provide quality foster care through dynamic partnerships with our approved resource families, staff, and community so that we can instill hope, trust, joy, and meaning in the lives of children in our care. Foster parents can be relatives or nonrelatives taking steps to care for children who have faced trauma and neglect in their young lives. Foster families try to provide children as much care and normalcy as possible. Homes of Hope fills a gap with personal involvement, spur-of-the-moment resources, education and support when a child is placed in their home.
We will be hosting a Toy Drive to benefit the kids from Loma Linda PICU Unit and Humble Homes Foster Family Agency. The gift should be brand new still in box and unwrapped. Extend a helping hand to the kids who are stressed and exhausted from the harsh realities of life.
Community Toy Drive
These children can come with special needs, or physical or mild mental emotional handicaps. We are looking for mature and responsible adults who can assist us with our mission to provide quality foster care in a safe and nurturing environment for these children. Our foster care program emphasizes a Vision of H.O.P.E that focuses on addressing the physical, mental, and emotional needs of children.

Each toy donation is worth 1 plate of tacos and there is a 2 taco plate limit. Taco supply donated by Buffalo Meat Market. There is a certain additional expenses to go through the screening process including the home security check. They guided me well throughout the process.

As long as you pass the screening, you are eligible to adopt the child. We had thought about fostering for three years before walking into There is Hope. Now we have a baby girl Emily with us and our family has been completed.

Our agency provides stable, loving, nurturing homes for youth who are unable to live with their biological families as a result of various circumstances. Children referred to our agency have often suffered from trauma stemming from varying forms of abuse and neglect, requiring the utmost care in meeting their needs. As a state-licensed 501 nonprofit, Children’s Hope is regulated by the Community Care Licensing Division of the California State Department of Social Services. In 2018, our agency became nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities for our public social services. Children’s Hope’s professional staff members provide in-house licensing, monitoring, and support services to individual resource homes.
